Since joining Xtracta in 2014, Bishal Gauli’s inquisitive nature has driven him to excel as Customer Services & Implementations Manager. His technical knowledge, combined with a deep understanding of optimising customer experiences, enables Bishal to improve how clients use Xtracta—whether through refining the contract data capture process or finding new ways to configure and implement the data extraction technology.
Bishal’s role is dynamic and customer-focused. As head of his department, he starts each day by reviewing ongoing client projects, addressing outstanding support requests, and ensuring his team is equipped to meet the day’s challenges. His responsibilities span from conducting workshops for new clients to collaborating with different teams—from AI specialists to Sales—to ensure Xtracta is implemented seamlessly. Bishal’s team serves as a vital link between Xtracta’s internal departments and its diverse customer base.
As Customer Services & Implementations Manager, Bishal is an expert at understanding diverse workflows and software used by businesses worldwide to help them reduce costs and improve productivity. Xtracta’s versatility means every customer can customise it to fit their needs. Whether interpreting uniquely formatted documents or processing large volumes of invoices, Bishal’s relationship-building approach ensures personalised support.
Bishal’s enthusiasm for AI and its potential as a problem-solving tool extends beyond the workplace. By integrating OpenAI with voice recording apps and workflow automation tools, he has created a personal voice journal that he uses daily—gaining firsthand experience with how AI can streamline everyday tasks. Outside of work, Bishal enjoys spending quality time with his family in South Auckland and pursuing his passion for mountain biking, which has taken him across New Zealand’s panoramic landscapes.
